Na nossa sociedade verificam-se situações preocupantes que se têm agravado cada vez mais: os pais têm

menos tempo para os seus filhos, as crianças mais isoladas umas das outras, o aumento das situações de

violência nas escolas, a crescente desmotivação das crianças face à escola. Todas estas circunstâncias são

preocupantes e urge minorar.

Assim sendo, a Animação Sociocultural possui um conjunto de fundamentos teóricos, metodológicos e práticos

que permitem uma maior intervenção na vertente preventiva, educativa e social dos alunos. Os técnicos de

animação sociocultural têm um papel importante na promoção e motivação das potencialidades sociais e

criativas, podendo auxiliar na promoção do sucesso educativo..

In our society there are worrying situations that have been increasing: parents have less and less time for their

children, children are keeping apart from each other, the rising of violent situations at school, the growing

children’s demotivation towards school. All these circumstances are worrying and in need of going down.

Therefore Socio-Cultural Animation has got a set of theoretical, methodological and practical fundamentals that

allow a greater intervention in the preventive, educational and social aspect of children. The Socio-Cultural

Animation technicians have got an important role in the promotion and motivation of the social and creative

capabilities, helping in the promotion of the educational success.

En concreto, aquellos estudiantes que serán futuros maestros, educadores sociales y profesores de educación secundaria, profesionales cuya participación será crucial en futuros programas de educación para la salud, prevención de enfermedades de transmisión sexual y afrontamiento del rechazo social que algunas de ellas, como el VIH, arrastran consigo. This study aims to clarify the attitudes of university students towards HIV/AIDS. Specifically, those students who will be future teachers, social educators and secondary education teachers, professionals whose participation will be crucial in future health education programs, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and coping with social rejection that some of them, such as HIV, bring along. Seu cerne é a análise de histórias de vida de seis mulheres do curso de Alfabetização e Letramento: emancipação feminina pela construção da cidadania, ofertado pelo Campus Taguatinga Centro, Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB). Para esta investigação, apoiamo-nos numa abordagem qualitativa, centrada em narrativas biográficas, compreendendo a importância de suas trajetórias e de seus saberes perante o mundo. The present study is in the field of youth and adult education. Its core is the analysis of life histories of six women from the Literacy and Literature course: feminine emancipation for the construction of citizenship, offered by Campus Taguatinga Centro, Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB). For this research, we rely on a qualitative approach, centered on biographical narratives, understanding the importance of their trajectories and their knowledge to the world.
