ACREDITACIÓN DE UNA LENGUA EXTRANJERA PARA LA OBTENCIÓN DEL GRADO DE EDUCACIÓN SOCIAL EN LAS UNIVERSIDADES PÚBLICAS ESPAÑOLAS María-Isabel Viana-Orta; Inmaculada López-Francés; Universitat de València (España) La formación de educadores y educadoras sociales en España llega a la Universidad en la década de los 90 y unos años después modifica su estructura para adaptarse al Espacio Europeo de Eduación Superior (EEES). En el contexto europeo y con el objetivo de seguir mejorando su formación para conseguir profesionales más competentes, se presenta un estudio comparado en el que las unidades comparativas han sido todos los centros públicos españoles que ofrecen el Grado de Eduación Social (N=33), y la variable comparada ha sido la necesidad o no de acreditar el concomiento de una lengua extranjera para la obtención del título. Del estudio se concluye que el 27,27% (N=9) de centros sí que exige esta acreditación con diferencias entre niveles y lenguas, mientras que un 72,72% (N=24) de centros, no la exige. Social Educators training in Spain comes to the University in the 90’s and a few years later changed its structure to adapt to the Eurepan Higher Education Area (EHEA). In the European context and in order to further improve their training to get more competent professionals, is presented a comparative study whose comparative units have been all Spanish public Universities that offer degree in Social Education (N=33), and the comparative variable has been the need or not to accredit knowledge of a foreign language to obtein the degree. The study concludes that 27,27% (N=9) centres yes wich requires this accreditation with differents in levels and languages, while 72,72 % (N=24) centers, does not require it.
